What's up with allergies?

Why are people allergic to planet Earth? Where the hell else are we gonna go?! I don't get it. My whole life I've never had allergies to anything, except maybe super strong perfume -- the kind that hangs in the air and sticks in your nose. But the last few years, it seems more and more I'm suffering from a sore throat and sneezing and sinus pain and I didn't even know what the hell it was until I realized it only happens on the days when Jason's allergies are out of control. I'm allergic to trees or pollen or grass or some damned thing growing out there and I don't understand how that can be. Whose bright idea was it to make people have allergic reactions to their surroundings? If I have to be allergic to something, can't it be work?! I need a doctor's note saying I can't work because it puts me on the floor. Can I get that, please? Allergies suck. And I have to admit, I never had nearly enough sympathy for people suffering from allergies. It sucks -- bad! Now I have to have empathy. Karmic justice, I guess. F!
