Slacker
Okay, it's 7:15 and I haven't even taken a shower yet. I should be leaving for work within 15 to 30 minutes. THIS is why I've been staying off the computer in the morning!
I had trouble sleeping last night -- seems like lately I'm always waking up around midnight and I do fall back asleep, but I'm not used to waking up. I think I need to make some adjustments to our sleeping area -- the light from one of our fish tanks in the dining room annoys me, and we have dimmer settings on the alarm clock so I need to hit that whenever the husband forgets. Plus, our comforter is at the cleaners (which I just realized I could have picked up yesterday), and the bed feels unmade without it. I guess it really is comforting!
We were going to see United 93 last night but it didn't start until 7:20 which meant we wouldn't get home until at least 9:30 which these days sounds pretty damned late. Plus I know it's going to be hard to watch, but I feel like I need to see it. I've read good reviews about it. The husband's allergies were killing him last night -- this spring has been pretty brutal, whether or not he takes the allergy meds. So sitting in a theater for a couple of hours with him feeling like that and both of us being tired just wasn't going to cut it. We had dinner at BJ's Brewery and went back home. I did get our Mother's Day cards written out and addressed, so that's something. And I went through the mail and caught up on some Tivo. Big important things. Oh, yeah, and we went to Best Buy and got the new Pearl Jam and Tool CDs. I was going to get Red Hot Chili Peppers, too, but I felt like I was going overboard. Plus, I wanna get the new Godsmack and there were a few other things I saw that interested me, so I had to just put it down and walk away. We also found The Toy on DVD for $6.99 so we had to pick that up! Wonder Wheel! I love that movie.
Anyway, I need to get my ass to work since I'm actually making some progress this week. Ciao!

I've been missing my comforter lately too, but it's warming up, so I shouldn't really need it anymore.
Hope you made it to work on time today. :)
How is the new Tool?
Peachy: We picked it up tonight! We still need ours, 'cuz we just run the AC in the summer.
Pixie: We haven't had a chance to listen to it yet! The Pearl Jam one didn't really have any standouts to me other than the first single off it, so I may have to give it time to grow on me. I'll be interested to hear what Tool has come up with!
