9:13 a.m. and completely unmotivated
The normal high around here this time of year is 93 degrees. Today's forecast? 104. Ugh. Yesterday got to 105, I think. Weather chick says it's another "spare the air" day. Duh.
I'm bored. It's pretty rare for me to get bored. I always have something to do. Today, I just don't feel like it. I'll probably regret that tomorrow when I'm sitting at work wishing I could do whatever I want!
Yesterday I mostly did stuff around the house (including about a thousand pounds of laundry) then went to my mother's house to see some work she's having done to it. Exciting. Today I'm wondering if I can drag my ass into the gym before I move ahead with the rest of my plan: laying in bed and reading magazines. Maybe I'll give myself a pedicure.
Okay, I just saw that commercial again, with -- is it Gary Coleman? That midget who was always saying "whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?" The one where he's hawking cash for "sushi chefs . . . and football refs." I think they play it about every 10 minutes now. WTF? Why is it that the worst commercials get the most air time? Why can't they play more commercials like the one with Terry Tate, the Office Linebacker?!
Anyway, I'm not feeliing particularly funny or witty, and don't have anything noteworthy to say, so I'll let it go at that for now.

After it reaches 90 degrees, is there really any difference between 93 and 103?
J: For me there is! I'll take 93 over 103 any day! My threshhold for "is there really any difference" is 100+ -- because we get a lot of that in these parts!
