Movie Meme
I didn't even know what this was until Cheryl tagged me for it! Happy Friday, and here goes:
1. Total number of films I own on DVD/Video: Well, we really only have a handful at this point because we don't watch many movies. I used to love to go to the movies, but the husband -- not so much. At some point my interest just kind of dropped off. We have a big box full of VHS tapes that we haven't gotten rid of yet just because it seems like a waste, but as for DVDs that we keep around the house because we will probably watch them again at some point, I'd say there are about a dozen.
2. The last film I bought: I'm not sure about this one, but it might have been Tombstone, which I bought for my husband as a Christmas present. Love that movie!
3. The last film I watched: I believe the last film I watched was actually in the theater -- probably The Aviator. Pretty good! The scene where Hughes crashed his plane into a neighborhood, though, was pretty brutal.
4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me: I wouldn't say that I watch them a lot, but I have seen them several times. I like to laugh, so my selections probably won't be on any movie slob's list, but off the top of my head -- Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Real Genius, The Ref, Tombstone, and Office Space.
5. Tag five people and have them put this in their journal: Well, I don't know who would be likely to respond to this, but let's say Grrrace, BeerGirl, Peachy, Egghe & J.D. Namroh. Of course, for anyone who reads Grrrace, she will shred a topic like this -- but I like the idea of getting her to name her top 5!
P.S. Up there in No. 4, that should've been movie SNOB'S list. That was kind of a funny slip!
