I'm hungry

I slept great last night, and now I'm wide awake. My feet are a little tired from running around at a golf tournament all day yesterday (facilitating it, not playing in it), but otherwise I'm good. And now I'm hungry. Starting to get really hungry, but the husband and the stepdaughter probably won't even be up for another hour or two so if I want to make breakfast, I'll be making it for myself. What fun is that? I want something good, too. But what?

Today we're supposed to go look for a new bike for the stepdaughter. She's due. That should be fun. Last night she and I went to the book store because I wanted to look at some organizational stuff -- I need some new ideas! Mostly for work -- but looking around here, I see I could use it at home as well. The stepdaughter got the new book by Cesar Milan, a.k.a. "The Dog Whisperer." She wants some ideas for dealing with her bulldog. I'd better get started reading my stuff!

The Breakup came out last night, too -- I'd really like to see that. And I need to get my car washed due to all the crap that landed on it during our drive to my dad's last weekend. AND I need to have my battery tested to see if it's running out of juice because my gearshift is sticking -- apparently some kind of built-in warning system for that according to the owner's manual. Weird.

So yeah -- lots to do today. It's only 8 a.m. -- but I'm ready to get started!

I hate when cars have mystery problems. I hope it's an easy fix. So, how was the golf tournament? Was "a good time had by all"? And what did you have for breakfast?

I was watching Oprah on Friday, and Cesar Milan was on one of the segments. He's good. I hope the book works for the step daughter.

What did you eat? hee hee.

Gary: The golf tournament was good -- it was a beautiful day and everyone seemed to have fun. And the trophies I picked out were a hit!

Pixie: It was -- and I got so much done!

Peachy: Boring cereal! I was too hungry to wait and figure out something better. BUT, on Sunday I made pancakes, and scrambled eggs w/Monterey jack cheese. We had breakfast at 10 a.m. and didn't eat again until 8 p.m.! We got some mileage out of that breakfast.

Ian: Nope -- grrrr.
