What day is it?
I have been working like mad lately and the day flies by -- but I still don't feel like I'm getting enough done. So much to do, so little time! I don't want to work 12 hours a day -- but sometimes I feel like I need to. Last night I even brought some work home. I was glad I did it, but I still didn't get to do all the stuff I'd planned to do today. It's amazing how busy you can be. I've gotta find a way to get a grip on all this! I kind of feel like my work is running me right now instead of the other way around.
As for doing stuff around the house, well, I did get a bunch of laundry done with the Monday holiday, but not much else -- just a little cleaning up here and there. I haven't balanced the checkbook in days, paid bills, taken care of other paperwork that needs to be done -- it's very unnatural for me. And forget working out. I went to the gym yesterday morning for a whopping half hour.
Do you ever feel like things are so scattered that you don't even feel like trying to get control of it? That's kind of where I am right now. I mean, I want to get control of it, but it just feels like such a monumental task.
Ah, I'll get it together eventually. I don't know when, exactly, but I'll get to it!

Write a list with absolutely everything on it, and start with the easy things and scratch out the list. I think the check marks or lines make most people feel better about things.
Peachy: I'm totally a list person -- and I do feel better about crossing things off -- but my list is l-o-n-g right now!
I feel that way when I'm in school. I always feel like I have so much to do and never enough time to do it. Of course if I was on the computer less it would help. LOL.
Pixie: You know, the more I have to do, the more I get done. If I have nothing to do, I can get a little lazy. Of course, that would probably be when I could actually spend some time reading!
