Sugar high
Too . . . much . . . sweets today! Today I got a call from the receptionist telling me I had a beautiful basket waiting for me downstairs. This is what it looked like:
It was full of chocolate covered strawberries (white chocolate is the BEST!), a chocolate-dipped bottle of champagne, a candle, and some bubble bath. So far, I've only tried the strawberries -- though I predict by the end of the week we'll have made our way through most of the rest of it!
We went out for pizza and beer tonight, to avoid the restaurant crowds. It was great! The restaurants we passed by looked crowded, and I was glad not to be dealing with that.
I think my sugar rush is wearing off now . . . starting to crash. Time for bed!

Peachy: Well, ya gotta eat the strawberries pretty quickly. I took them home so the husband could help -- which he was only too happy to do!
