I got my CDs

I picked up James Blunt's "Back to Bedlam" today, as well as Dane Cook's "Retaliation" and "Harmful if Swallowed" CDs/DVDs (he gives you both together). I also picked up a CD the husband's been wanting and am going to make it one of his stocking stuffers. I've already listened to the Blunt album -- it's only about 40 minutes long. I love it! I guess it just came out 2 months ago in the U.S. and, in the U.K., he's on track to be the top-selling artist of 2005. He knocked Coldplay out of the top spot! I just got X&Y a couple of months ago, too. Man, I've been missing out. It seems like for the past few years I've really slacked on music. Probably because the TV's always on in my house, so I really only get to listen in the car. I need to get a CD player that works for our room! Something. I love music so much. It just finally hit me that I could be using my CD on my PC at work since I have my own office now. I'm gonna blow it up! I can't wait 'til the husband and I can sit down and watch the Dane Cook DVDs, too. I'll have to put the CDs in the car so I can listen to those. Is there anything better than sitting at a red light, throwing your head back and laughing out loud when you are listening to something like that and letting the other people in traffic wonder what the hell is so funny?

Here are a couple of links for you:

http://www.atlanticrecords.com/jamesblunt/music/

When you go to that one, there is a little orange & yellow thing in the top right corner with a marquee-type crawl that has different artist names going through it. His song "You're Beautiful" is in there.

And, at this link his video for "Goodbye My Lover" can be found (5th video down): http://www.mtve.com/article.php?ArticleId=4845

There's another, that his site says is an early demo called "out of My Mind": http://www.jamesblunt.com/audio/OutOfMyMind_demo.mp3
