Cadillac Concussion

Whoah, Nelly -- me & the best friend met yesterday for margaritas, Mexican food & wedding planning. We got a lot done, more than I thought, and she was excited that I was excited, so it was fun. We haven't spent a lot of time together lately so getting together Friday and Sunday was a good chance to catch up. But man -- I think we each had about 6 or 7 Cadillac margaritas, and they were going down nicely! We were there so long we had lunch and dinner, and each brought home food for the menfolk. Fun fun fun.

I was passing out sometime between 9:30 & 10 o'clock last night, and slept for about 9 hours. Between getting up late and crazy traffic, I was way late this morning. I'm gonna skip lunch so I can still go home on time. I have just enough time to go grab something and bring it back to my desk. But I'm okay with that -- time is flying by today. I'm not hung over, but I am dehydrated and was dragging a little this morning.

Next Sunday, we're meeting at her place to talk some more. I'm bringing the champagne, and she's making the eats. Gotta get that location nailed down way in advance! After that, everything else should be pretty simple and won't have to be done as far in advance.
