4th of July

Well, it's only been 9 days . . . those fireworks you buy at the booths these days seem a lot better than what I remember as a kid! Look how excited the husband is:











As you can see, all the excitement wore the husband out! Well, that and a bunch of beer and JELL-O SHOTS. Jell-o shots! My friend Corinne was pushing these on everyone all night . . . not that there was much resistance:



Doesn't she seem proud of herself? She should be, she worked hard that day trying to stuff everyone and get them drunk.



Her husband David was in charge of the fireworks. He thought he was Tom Hanks in Cast Away running around with that lighter ("Look what I've created. I have made FIRE!"):
