Mini Vacation
Or so it would seem. I have a 2-day seminar to attend, starting today. Hoping to get some good tips on layout and design for newsletters and all kinds of other PR and Marketing tools. Could come in handy in a number of ways.
It took me a little longer to wrap up stuff at the office knowing I wouldn't be back until Friday. Why does that always happen? Seems like about a half hour before it's time to go there's always a mad dash to finish some things and leave notes about others. Then, stupid me, I came home and worked for another 3 hours -- but it didn't feel like work. That's what I want ALL of my work to be like! I want to be one of those people who feel like the day flies by because the stuff I'm doing is fun.
I'm working on it.
We got a coat of Fudgsicle on the bathroom wall last night. Well, not "we," actually; the husband came home after 8:30 last night from a friend's house and at 8:45 was asking if I wanted to start painting. Ummm, after working an additional 3 hours when I came home from work? No. But he was determined, and did it himself. I'm still trying to imagine the bathroom as a finished product, but I think this version of brown is going to be much nicer than the previous one. It does look kind of chocolately! Mmmmchocolate. I've been wishing we had some ice cream around here recently. And I haven't been to the gym in weeks, so I don't know why I'm even letting myself think about it. I've been really bad about coming home and dinking around for hours lately until it's 11 o'clock or later, and sleeping a lot longer than I should, running late every morning and not accomplishing much of anything. What's wrong with me?! I guess it's time to start cracking the whip on myself.
Starting with getting off this damned computer!

There are no #2's allowed in this bathroom (my bathroom) because it is in our bedroom. Those are strictly reserved for the other bathroom, which is not attached to where anyone sleeps or watches TV!
Of course I have had Ben & Jerry's NY Super Fudge Chunk. It's all about the white chocolate. My other favorite flavors are Phish Food and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
Dammit! I still want ice cream!
