Impressive

I referenced this in my earlier post. On Sunday I walked outside to take out the trash and thought to myself, "wow, it's beautiful out!" Then I looked up to see this just down the street (click on the pic to get the full effect):

Someone definitely went the extra mile to do that! I recall my overriding thought being "it's a good thing it wasn't raining." Cut to Monday. It rained like HELL. Hell I say! When I left work that afternoon, it was coming down in buckets -- then the hail started. It almost seemed as if someone was actually throwing ice at the ground the way it was coming down. As I drove down the street to my house, the tree in the pic above was dripping with soggy TP and the ground was covered in more of the same. By way of comparison, I remember in elementary school some kids would wet toilet paper and throw it up at the ceiling, where it would stick. It looked kind of like that in reverse. I wish I'd thought to take another picture! Alas, I did not.

At first I thought it was ice, and I thought that was even cooler.

Yeah, someone defintely took a lot of time doing that. They were probably cracking up when it started raining. Wow..those were the good ol' days. hee hee.

What a mess to clean up. They use to do that to our band teacher right before finals. Then they would go back and clean up. I never joined because I was lazy and not much into the whole band thing.

Beautiful, yet aggravating.
