Bummed
We won't be seeing Aerosmith and Lenny Kravitz tomorrow; apparently, Steven Tyler is having some trouble with this voice and had to cancel a few dates. It's been rescheduled to April 15th, of all days -- a Saturday, which is nice -- but when Aerosmith finally gets here, Lenny Kravitz won't be with them. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! So I guess we get Cheap Trick instead. Indeed. Not my idea of a comparable substitute! Oh, well, It'll be fun to see Aerosmith again. But, I am really BUMMED about missing out on Lenny. I've only seen him once!
In other news, I've only left the house once this entire weekend, and that was to go to the gym. I didn't even realize it until just now! No matter -- I got a lot done around the house this weekend and I still have all evening ahead of me. The husband is at his brother's house watching the Super Bowl on his 100-inch television. Never thought our 51-inch TV wouldn't be big enough! And, his brother's living room is half the size of ours. They're gonna be blind by the time that game is over.
That's about it. It's been a rather uneventful weekend, which is just fine by me. I think tonight I'll bake some cream cheese & chocolate chip filled cupcakes, read some magazines and keep on watching this Law & Order marathon that's on right now. Having the house to myself is pure bliss, I tell you -- probably because it never happens! The stars are aligned. :o)
I think I'm gonna need a cupcake before I address our taxes. I so hope we'll get some money back, but it's still kind of stressful to do. I hate Uncle Sam. He's a greedy bastard! Fuckin' Sam. This picture (which I got by being on a cartoonist's notify list) sums up how Uncle Sam makes me feel:
Isn't that the funniest? Ciao!

At first I thought that was someone's arm. HA!!HA!!
I watched the Superbowl on a big tv, so I'm probably blind too.
It's nice having the house alone. Good luck with your taxes, and enjoy those cupcakes, cutie!
I didn't get to make the cupcakes -- I forgot we were out of eggs! I used 'em all at breakfast. Gah!
