OMG I almost missed it!

Today's my blogiversary! A year! A year? Wow, a year. A whole year. I came to Blogger a year ago and decided to start writing on a regular basis. Nothing earth-shattering, really, and often not really even inspired. But the goal was to write with some frequency. More often than not, my favorite blogs are the ones in which I post photos. But sometimes I have a few nuggets to post -- mostly when I need to rant about something. Which can be often.

So there it is. My blogiversary. I think I get more lurkers than anything else -- probably a lot of people looking at what I've written and then saying "alllllllllllrighty, then!" That's alright by me, though. I try to remember that I'm supposed to be writing for myself and that others are just able to see it. Still, I find I write knowing that someone will see it. It's probably the reason I don't get too deep on the blog. Then again, whenever I put pen to paper, I wouldn't get too deep there, either. I really don't want anyone reading about things I may or may not be agonizing over! I'd rather rant or think of something funny to say.

Anyhoo, I've come across a lot of cool people through the process, many of whom are linked on my sidebar -- and others who are just marked in my "favorites" in Explorer until I remember to add them. Thanks for keeping me entertained, and for the feedback I've received on many of my posts. I like to get others' perspective on things.
