Hodgepodge

First, I gotta get it out -- I got tickets to Coldplay on the 30th! I wasn't even sure I was going to go, and I thought it was nearly sold out. At the very least, I thought I'd be in the nosebleeds, and I was still thinking about going. This morning I got on Ticketmaster, did a search and some nosebleeds came up (second level, row S). On a whim I did another search and got lower level, row J! Stupid computers -- when you click "best available," the BEST AVAILABLE seats should always come up! Oh, well. I got my tix, and my best friend and I are going (the husband didn't seem to wanna go). So yeah. Coldplay!

Lots of concerts coming up. We're going to Reno to see Aaron Lewis (from Staind) this Friday, and now I'm going to Coldplay on the 30th, then we're going to Aerosmith and Lenny Kravitz on Feb. 6th! Ahhhhhhhhhh.

In other random news, I saw two very strange stickers on my way in to work this morning. The first was stuck on a sign by the freeway on-ramp (sp?) meters -- the sign says something like "2 cars per green." Right by that, a sticker saying "Bush is a twat." Someone got out of their car to do that? I kind of wished I'd whipped out my camera phone and taken a shot -- there was no one behind me -- but I needed to get my ass to work and it was foggy this morning. So, no pic.

The other one, on the back of a car with a "F*ck Terrorism" sticker and some other stickers I can't remember on it (except maybe a "3" for a NASCAR driver and some cartoon character) had one I most certainly do remember: "Let the asslicking commence." Huh? I get the Bush ones, the terrorism ones, the funny ones -- this one was just a head scratcher. Whose ass is being licked? And why do we want to volunteer for this? Just wondering.
