Rock Star: Inxs -- follow up

Well, J.D. won it. It doesn't surprise me, seeing as his voice sounds the most like Michael Hutchence's voice did, and given his creativity with song arrangements -- and ability to work a crowd. I think he was a better choice than Marty, and though I thought Mig was gonna win it all, toward the end I think it was more clear that he wasn't going to be able to pull off Inxs's 20+ year back catalog. I still think he'll break out with something.

Anyway, I finished my 2-day newsletter, etc. design workshop today. I picked up a few tips, tricks and concepts, so that was good. And I only have a day to finish up that newsletter before we go on vacation, so I'd better get crackin'!

Gotta get the laundry and house stuff squared away so we'll be ready to go. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh no alarms for a week. Yippee kay yay, mofo! Hopefully my friend will be staying at our house while we are away -- and we always feel better with our friendly CHP living next door.

Right now we are going to pick out tile so our bathroom can be finished. I don't think the stuff we were going to use originally goes too well with the "Fudgsicle" paint. I like the color of the paint now, but I'm still not sure it's the best match for the tile we've put on the floor -- I'm hoping that once the trim is in, and the shower tile is done, and we find a new shower curtain and all that, that it'll look great. Keeping my fingers crossed . . . I don't have good luck with paint colors!
