Happy Birthday

to my Stepdaughter! She's 11 today. She was only 5 when I first met her and the husband -- a tiny little thing she was. I used to have to help her wash and condition her hair and pick her up out of the big tub in my apartment. Not anymore! She's about to pass me up, height-wise, and has already passed me up shoe-size-wise. She must be fixin' to take after her father, who is 6'3".

She's a really great kid with a good head on her shoulders -- a head of impossibly thick hair. Another area where she takes after her father! Happy birthday, girlie!
