Ahhhhhhh
Should be a good day. We got up kind of early and I'm having a facial at 11. The husband and I are going shopping for our trip to Cancun. We need some clothes & shoes, travel snacks -- actually, I don't think there's that much we need to buy! Just need to start getting our stuff together.
Web sites say there are some tropical storms expected in Cancun starting tomorrow and continuing into next week. I was a little reassured by some things I've read on line indicating there might be some showers here and there, but it doesn't mean it's going to rain the whole time we're there. I don't mind if there's some rain, but I'm hoping for some nice sunny or partly cloudy days, too. We want to spend some time outside!
The cat's being a spaz this morning. I don't know what's going on with her, but she's running around with this menacing look on her face and doing her kitty flops all over the place. She's a nut.
I probably oughta take a shower and get things rolling. I got up so early I felt like I had forever but it's going on 9:20 and my appointment is at 11 -- and about 20+ minutes away. Lord knows I spent enough time reading other blogs last night. I wonder if I will have withdrawals being away from the computer for 6 full days?! I check my e-mail at home and at work probably a hundred times a day. And the blogs . . . I'm gonna fall behind! Oh, well -- they can go on w/o me. We are so due for a vacation, I just can't wait. Only 2 more days of work stand between us and the Caribbean sea.
So yeah, I guess I better take that shower!

JC: The facial WAS sweet. Gotta keep the skin looking good! Shopping for clothes, mostly. Got the husband all taken care of, now I need to go find a few things. There will be no banana hammocks in our luggage, thankyouverymuch! I'm hoping the food kicks butt . . .
E: I wish I could say we go on vacation every year -- however, from this point on out I'm gonna make it my mission. Trying for Hawaii in February, if we can pull it together.
