Too busy for HNT
Seriously . . . my submissions lately have been rather lackluster, so I'm just gonna sit this one out.
In other news, I generally don't give a crap about Britney Spears or that lump she calls her husband -- but I read something about him doing a CD and saw a link to a clip from it, so I just had to hear what it was. Terrible. I don't mean just that I don't like it, or it kind of sucks, but more like what the hell are the people involved in that project thinking?! I'm sure Britney's bankrolling the whole thing so to them it's just money, but it was SO bad. And I heard less than a minute of it. I read a comparison of him to Vanilla Ice -- and honestly, I could see how someone could conclude that, but this is how bad it really is: Vanilla Ice has a better chance of being inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame than Kevin Federline does of selling more than 10 cds. It's crap. Not that this comes as a surprise, but I would think he would have SOME self-respect. I wouldn't put my name on that shit!
Anyway.
Tomorrow's Friday. Work rocks. My friend's engagement party planning and wedding planning are moving right along. The house is basically clean. The laundry's about done. The bills are paid (as much as they can be, anyway). The holidays are coming. We have lots of good friends. My dad is supposed to be coming up this weekend. The husband has family coming in next week. We've got holiday plans. I bought my first Christmas gift last weekend. I've been to the gym twice this week (not great, but it's something). I made two new dishes for the husband this week (and they were GOOD). We had dinner at a new place this week that I think I love. Oh, and I'm not Britney Spears or Kevin Federline.
In other words, it's all good.
